LUCE is the new project of Iris Ceramica Group, designed by Guillermo Mariotto. The designer's hand was guided by the intention to reshape ceramics. The fusion between the innovative nature of the company and the aesthetic and visionary sense of the designer has resulted in a material that reworks classic elegance with a contemporary twist. An authentic surface that takes architecture to a new dimension.

The Luce collection includes the color Pearl, the symbolic color of ACTIVE SURFACES®. A white that is synonymous with purity and that optimally expresses the unique characteristics of these eco-active surfaces. ACTIVE SURFACES® are high-performance ceramic materials that have been on the market for more than 10 years, are internationally patented and whose distinctive properties are certified according to ISO standards. ACTIVE SURFACES® materials utilize the photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide in combination with silver, transforming the simple ceramic sheet into an eco-active material with the following properties: ANTI-BACTERIAL, ANTI-VIRAL, ANTI-POLLUTION, ANTI-ODOR and SELF-CLEANING. Thanks to the action of light (natural or artificial) and the naturally present humidity, ACTIVE SURFACES® surfaces are able to perform these important actions, ensuring safety and well-being in our homes as well as in public and outdoor spaces. ACTIVE SURFACES® materials have properties that characterize them to the point that they are effective in any type of lighting, even in the dark. Their action is constant and does not decrease over time.
