Tile samples
Evaluate the tile in real life before you choose.
A tile sample is a cutout from a real tile of approximately 10 x 10 cm, so not a whole tile; for narrower tiles, the size is adjusted, for example to 7,5 x 10 cm. You can only truly see the color, gloss, texture, and how light falls on it when you hold the material in your hands, in the room where it will be installed. That is why we send out samples: without obligation, and free of charge for professionals.
Why a physical monster
A screen does not show a tile.
Every screen displays color differently, and a product photo is always taken under studio lighting. With a sample, you compare in your own daylight, next to your floor, window frames, and furniture.
Color and light
The same beige tile appears warm in morning light and gray in artificial light. Place the sample where the tile will go and look at it at different times of the day.
Structure and gloss
Relief, a matte or polished finish, and the pattern of a marble or wood look can only be felt and seen on the actual material. This is also the best way to judge the edge (rectified or not).
This is how it works
From tile to monster in four steps.
You request samples per tile from the assortment. A maximum of 2 samples per shipment, so that you can make a targeted comparison.
Choose a tile
Filter the assortment by color, look, size, or brand and open the tile you want to review.
Add the sample
Click on "Request free sample". The tile will be added to your sample selection; you can choose a maximum of 2 per shipment.
Complete the application
Indicate whether you are a professional, student, or private individual and enter your details. Professionals enter their Chamber of Commerce number.
Rate and choose
The sample will be delivered to you within 2 to 3 working days. Compare it in the room itself and then make your final choice, possibly with advice from our team.

What is a factory sample folder?
For some of the collections, in addition to individual samples, there is also a sample folder from the manufacturer itself.
Loose tile sample
A cutout of approximately 10 x 10 cm of exactly the tile you choose (for narrower tiles, for example, 7,5 x 10 cm), so not a whole tile: a color, a finish, a size. Ideal for testing a specific choice or placing two candidates side by side.

Factory sample folder
A folder or box compiled by the manufacturer containing the complete series: all colors and often multiple finishes and sizes side by side. You receive the factory's selection, not a custom composition.

- Only for professionals with a Chamber of Commerce registration number; students and private individuals order individual tile samples.

Are tile samples free?
The sample itself is always free. Professionals with a Chamber of Commerce registration number also pay nothing for shipping. Students and private individuals pay a fixed fee of EUR 9,95 per shipment (including VAT) for compiling and shipping a maximum of 2 samples.
How many samples can I request?
Maximum of 2 per shipment. This keeps the comparison clear and allows us to serve everyone quickly. Do you need more for a project? Contact us, and we'll take a look.
How long does delivery take?
Samples are delivered within 2 to 3 working days to addresses in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will receive a confirmation by email as soon as the request has been processed.
Why do I have to enter a Chamber of Commerce number as a professional?
The free scheme is intended for business applicants. With your Chamber of Commerce number, we know that your application falls under this scheme; further verification is not necessary.
Do I get a whole tile as a monster?
No. A tile sample is a small cutout of the tile measuring approximately 10 x 10 cm, not a whole tile. For narrower tiles, the size is adjusted, for example to 7,5 x 10 cm. This way, you can see the color, gloss, and texture of the actual material.
Can I order a sample folder as a student or private individual?
No. Factory sample folders are only available to professionals with a Chamber of Commerce registration number. Students and private individuals can request individual tile samples, a maximum of 2 per shipment.
Can I put together a sample folder myself?
No. A factory sample folder is a fixed selection from the manufacturer. If you want to combine them yourself, you choose individual tile samples from the assortment.
Can I pick up samples or view them in the showroom?
Yes, you can view collections and samples by appointment in our showroom in Utrecht (Proostwetering 16A). Schedule a visit via the contact page.
